Be still my heart.
It is so official: James & Meg are ENGAGED! And we cannot wait to tell you the whole story! Meagan met Zac sometime at DBU, possibly when Zac was dressed up as a potato mascot for the university. (YES - true story) I met Meagan there soon after and just fell in love with her - her sweet heart, fun and dainty style, everything! Well years later, this mystery man, James, contacted us. We had never met this man, but he wrote us an email explaining who he was and that he needed our help. He was asking for Meg's hand in marriage and he wanted us to capture it. We freaked out, like usual, and then agreed! After many emails and Skype sessions later, we KNEW this guy was perfect for Meagan! I mean PERFECT. He would trail on about his favorite things about her and the tiny details he had planned for their special night...
So there we were, headed down to Huntsville, ready to rumble. We got to the spot in the nick of time, cameras ready, and tissues accessible (if you know me, that is NO surprise). Then before we knew it, they were here! Eeeee! Meg was blindfolded and James was nervous. It was PERFECT. James gently guided his gal down to a beautifully lit table sitting on a beautiful little bridge over a beautiful little creek located in Meagan's backyard (by backyard I mean back-ACRES and ACRES! Over 200 I came to understand - there were literal cows walking by us at this point. I almost cried out of excitement).
James took off the blindfold and went through a book he handmade for her. There were lots of tears, hugs, more hugs, and tiny screams of excitement from Meg. Then one knee, then some bling. It was awesome!
Something out of a story tale.
Then took a few "WE ARE SO ENGAGED!" pictures and celebrated with their families!
