Hello friends! I had the amazing chance to capture the Autumn line for the beautiful company, The Deeply Co. It was so fun to be involved in the "behind-the-scenes" and see exactly how thoughtful this curation of clothing is. And, literally everything I saw, I was swooning. Each piece was so flattering and also looked so comfortable (WIN!) - plus two gorgeous dresses with POCKETS - my favorite! Check out a few of my favorite images and then head over to their new website & treat yo' self!Read More
Recently I (Zac) was approached by one of my closest friends and mentor, Josh Proctor. You might remember the Proctor family from several blog posts, we got to take pictures of their new born baby girl, Anna Kate, the day after she was born in the hospital, and also we were got the chance to take the Proctor's family photos! Josh and his wife, Kelly, helped Kaitlin and I in our premarital counseling as well, so needless to say we are very close to this family. One of Josh's passions is to speak the truth into men's lives in a one-on-one mentor relationship. Often, he has found, that these men and boys are struggling with a serious addiction to internet pornography.
When Josh approached me about his conviction to start really getting his name out there as a voice against this industry, I thought he was crazy! What a hard topic this is to approach, it is definitely a sin that is kept in the dark and that is one of the very reasons it is so serious! After much prayer and consideration, Josh and I, with the help of Justin W. Lowe Productions, sat down and worked out a strategy that involved a complete blog design and video interview that would allow Josh to be an outspoken light in this dark world.
*Please be advised: where Josh speaks on internet pornography in a very careful way, this video does shed light on a topic that might be carefully approached, especially by children. Please take this into consideration before viewing.

Kaitlin: I am just in love with this session and this beautiful family! Kelsey (one of the beautiful daughters of this family) and I were roommates my first two years of college. We went to the same high school, only knowing of each other, but were able to match-up in the glorious dorms of UNT our freshman year. I have hundreds of fond memories with Kelsey, like flooding the laundry room with bubbles, making puppy-chow in the tiniest kitchen in the world, and asking her to help me with my art projects (which she was much better at!). Lastly, I have been able to witness Kelsey truly lean upon the Lord as she makes much of His name in her life. How beautiful is that. It has been such a blessing to meet this family, and to build a friendship with Kels. Here are just a handful of our favorites from our mini-session in the park a few days before Christmas!
Meet the coolest family on the block. Seriously! This family lives in Dallas in this industrial urban flat that is just way too cool. Their son, Ridley is the cutest little boy with a love for his parents and of course, Batman! We just loved hanging out with this family and walking around town taking some pictures in Deep Ellum. We had a great time with this family and our hope was that their personalities came out through these pictures. Take a look at just a few of our favorites! -z&k
(^This one reminds me from a scene from Baby's Day Out - Remember that movie?!)
I can't even put our excitement into words. Well, let me just start by telling you about our dear friends Jenn & Michael. We had the awesome opportunity to hang out with this family for an entire Sunday. Jennefer & Michael have sweet, humble, and kind hearts &&& we were so thankful for our evening with them. Not only them, but there big 'ol golden retrievers - IN LOVE. Jenn - by far one of the best photographers I know, a gorgeous and creative woman. She is the kinda girl that leans in when you speak and is just great at sharing life with you. And Michael treated us like majesty with dinner and hand-made lattes in big white mugs. We laughed a lot. Talked about business, tv shows, and our pups. This night was a great conclusion to our beautiful after session she shot. We went out to the lake, grabbed our wedding attire, and went to work. I have to admit, it was so strange being on the opposite side of the lens, but we had a fabulous time. Here are a just a few of our favorites - check out Jenn's blog here and like her on Facebook. Check out our session on her blog here!
Kaitlin: My heart is just so excited to share this woman with you. This is Rachel, and she is just amazing. I met Rachel my freshmen year of college when a mutual friend met her on the bus and invited her to my first church small group filled with women that will always have a very special place in my heart. Rachel taught me what it looks like to be radically devoted to pursuing Christ by striving ferociously after His heart. God has placed this sweet sweet sister in my life for the past four years and she is about to embark on a very exciting new season of life. As she finishes up her Communications degree at the University of North Texas in a few weeks, she is pursuing her calling to full time ministry in the international mission field. We had the opportunity to meet with Rachel and get some shots of her before she walks the stage! Woo! &She was just a gem... We pulled her out into a middle of a field, gave her a stack of CS Lewis books and a big fluffy chair, AND she would try any idea we threw at her - umm dream client over here! She even brought along her beautiful doodles, her curly brown locks, and the most genuine smile. Here are a few of our absolute favorites... &&&& Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Rach - we both love you to pieces and are so thankful for your kind and joyful heart.
